Episode 4: Flat Earth Madness - Steve & Mat Podcast
December 25, 2017 6:00 AM
In a special edition of our podcast, this time we talk about the scary rise in number of flat Earth believers. It's worrying but also pretty funny. As I'm quite well read on the topic, I play Devil's advocate and try to deflect some of Mat's rational evidence that the Earth is round.
We talk about "Mad" Mike Hughes and his plan to launch himself in a steam powered rocket to see if the Earth is really round? Is he really a flat Earther or was he just after their funding?
We also debate gravity, why we have seasons, day and night, and super moons. All of which have been explained by science hundreds, if not thousands of years ago, but for flat Earthers, it's all an unexplained mystery.
