Filming for the new series wrapped in early June and once again the team travel they length and breadth of the UK tackling extreme hauntings in people's homes. The new series will go on to be shown on the Really channel, probably early in 2023.

We don't know much about season four yet, but the team have been spotted filming all over the country, including near the Cornish seaside town of Bude, in North Devon, and in the Somerset town of Clevedon.

With an episode count of 15, that's three more than in the first three seasons, the team's latest paranormal road trip promises to be the biggest and best yet. Talking about the new series on Facebook, Barri said, "it's been an incredible journey and these 15 cases are simply mind blowing! We honestly can't wait for you all to see what we uncovered and view our evidence."

It follows on from the Royal Television Society award-winning celebrity spin-off series, which saw the team investigate six celebrity homes, including Alex Best's rural cottage in Surrey, Toyah Willcox's Georgian terrace in Worcestershire, and property expert Martin Roberts' Welsh farmhouse.

Barri wrote, "I'm privileged to have investigated so many amazing places over 20 years, but the truth is the best locations have always been peoples homes. This is why I love being part of 'Help! My House Is Haunted' and why I still get a thrill from spending my days and nights trying to communicate with spirit and gathering evidence to present to you all."

The ghost hunter, who specialises in capturing EVPs, added, "when you're able to speak to spirit using technology and mediumship you realise that there's so much more to life and obviously so much we still don't know about physical death and consciousness."

He went on to promise that the next series of 'Help!' will "shock you, surprise you, scare you, make you cry and will certainly make you think just a little bit more."

If you can't wait for the new series of the show to begin, then you can re-watch the first three seasons on Discovery+ now, plus 'Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted', which is yet to air on Really and could be part of the channel's Halloween offering this year.

Plus production is about to begin on a second series of 'Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted'. This series will once again see the team embark on six new cases to help some very well known celebrities with their paranormal problems.
