Amazon Prime Series 'My Haunted Project' Investigates Britain's Most Haunted Inn

A new paranormal series titled 'My Haunted Project' has landed on Amazon Prime Video, bringing viewers an unprecedented look inside what's been described as the most documented haunted location in the world - Ye Olde Kings Head in Chester.

The series follows the work of Harry Achilleos, Danny Moss, and Dan Callaghan, the team behind the 'My Haunted Hotel' project, as they conduct an in-depth paranormal investigation of the 400-year-old inn. Originally a 17th-century brothel, Ye Olde Kings Head has a long and colourful history, and is now the setting for a 24/7 surveillance operation aimed at capturing genuine evidence of the paranormal.

Speaking in the show's trailer, Harry said, "13 years ago, I bought this haunted inn with the idea of setting up 24 hour surveillance to monitor anything paranormal that went on within this building. I was sick of people telling me that was all in my imagination, so I was here to prove them wrong."

That proof may well be paying off. Over the course of the first season, the team document a wide range of reported activity, including unexplained movement of objects, ghostly apparitions, and eerie interactions witnessed by both the investigators and guests.

Among the most talked-about incidents is the discovery of a sealed void behind a wall in room 5. Using a small camera called an endoscope, the team captured footage of a mysterious wooden box hidden deep within the dust-filled space. The box quickly became a key feature of the investigation. Danny explained, "A secret void with a mysterious box. This is what everybody wants to find. This is what everybody wants to know. What is in that box?"

The inn, which Danny describes as like nothing else in the field, has reportedly played host to a wide range of paranormal phenomena. "I've been working in the paranormal for over 15 years, and I have never, ever seen anything like what happens in this building," he said.

Footage from the hotel has included what appears to be a ghostly monk caught on camera walking towards a window before vanishing, dolls seemingly moving on their own, and chairs shifting without explanation in the area thought to have once been used as a brothel.

According to Dan, the team's mission was clear from the start: "Our goal was clear: Every angle covered, 24 hour surveillance. The history, the mystery - this building had its own story to tell, and we wanted to tell it."

That approach formed the foundation of the broader 'My Haunted Project', which has since grown to include additional locations, including 'My Haunted Manor USA' in Pennsylvania and 'My Haunted Pendle Hill' a 400 year old farmhouse on the side of the infamous Pendle Hill in Lancashire.

Danny said, "In 2022 we opened the doors to this reputedly haunted building to welcome real members of the general public here so that we can document their experiences on camera and show the world." He added, "There's no one else on the planet doing anything like this."
