Ian and Barry started their paranormal journey in 2015 with the first episode of their podcast, 'The ParaPod'. They have since produced 30 episodes, several specials, and sell-out live shows, which have been downloaded 2.3 million times.

In the film, the comic duo travel across Britain in a modified hearse. Barry tries to convince his sceptical friend Ian about the existence of ghosts, visiting some of the country’s allegedly most haunted locations. The film combines tension and comedy, staying true to 'The ParaPod' style. The tagline reads, "you won't believe it... but he will."

Originally released in March 2020, the independent movie premiered at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London's West End and embarked on a national cinema tour. This tour was postponed due to the pandemic but resumed in September 2021.
