About This Video

This video was uploaded to the YouTube channel Dead Air in April 2019.

Rob Davies investigates Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh, labelled as the one of the scariest places on the planet after more than 3,000 people have experienced attacks in one small section of this graveyard.

Believed by many to be caused by the restless spirit of George Mackenzie, the attacks are common. Deaths have been linked to this poltergeist, and many people are scratched, burned, and even knocked out by it.

What will happen when Rob is given the keys and exclusive access to the covenanter's prison section of the graveyard, and take on the world's most dangerous ghost....alone!

Access to this section of the Kirkyard was only made possible thanks to City of The Dead Tours. They are the only licensed people with keys to the gates. While the rest of Greyfriars is free for anybody to enter, if you want to experience the section where the attacks take place, you need to book a tour with them. Tickets can be bought at https://www.cityofthedeadtours.com/ or from their office at the Kirkyard gates.

All of their guides are First Aid Trained due to the nature of the attacks which take place. These tours are intense and therefore not for the faint hearted.

About Dead Air

Dead Air was formed in 2009 by University friends Rob Davies and Chris Felton, originally as a radio show in Newcastle based FM station, NE1fm. The show originally was based around encouraging callers to talk about their own experiences and opinions on the paranormal, as well as monthly live broadcasts from some of the North East's scariest places.

Chris works alongside Alan Robson, the host of Metro Radio's Nightowls and Sky TV's 'Scariest Places on Earth', and plans to make a full return to the show in 2021. Rob has been a radio presenter with NE1fm on the music scene, but is now 100% committed to creating paranormal content for the channel.
