Britain's Haunted Hotspots Mapped For The Very First Time

An interactive map showing the locations of over 1,000 of the most famously haunted places across the Great Britain have been published online for the first time. You can view the haunted map of Britain here.

We're always trying to make it easier for you to find information on Higgypop, but the more we add, the harder it can be to find the page you're looking for.

We now have pages for over 1,000 paranormal case files scatted across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. To make things easier, we've used this extensive set of data to plot a detailed map of paranormal hotspots across the whole of the country. 

Our map is the most complete interactive map of haunted buildings and paranormal hotspots of its kind and shows multiple allegedly haunted hotspot, including the most famous haunted houses, recurring ghost sightings, and poltergeist cases in the world.

The locations plotted on our map are those that boast our favourite tales of paranormal activity, the places that we've written about the most, and the hauntings you comment on and share the most.

Clicking on a location will take you to its case file page, where you'll be able to read about the haunted history of that location. Some locations also have details of its appearances in movies and television shows, there's also quizzes, photo and video evidence of the paranormal, and much more.

Just about every type of haunted building imaginable can be found on the map, from churches to old cinemas, factories and even lighthouses. The only properties we haven't included are those which are private dwellings or where there are other privacy concerns.

Remember that even the properties that feature on the map may be businesses or are otherwise closed to the public. So, if you do choose to visit any of these properties, please respect the current owners' privacy.

Like the rest of the website, the map is a work-in-progress and we'll continue to plot locations as we add new paranormal investigation reports, news stories, ghost hunting television show reviews, and haunted histories to the site.
