Doc Brown's DeLorean has to be the most iconic time machine of all time. 'Back To The Future' has driven the DeLorean Motor Company to cult status, and now fan's of the 80s time travel franchise can show their love for the movies with an official DMC watch.
The iconic DeLorean DMC-12 car first rolled off the assembly line in 1981, but the sports car didn't make it past the end of the decade, as the company shut down, but the car did travel to the year 2015 with Marty McFly onboard.
Fans of science fiction will be familiar with the car's unique design thanks to its appearance in all three 'Back To The Future' movies. The distinctly shape DMC-12 has a stainless steel body, and gull-wing doors.

Now the DeLorean lives on as a stylish and reasonably priced watch, the Alpha DMC, which is available in classic black and silver, or in a more vibrant blue. Emphasising the industrial look of the watch are the four exposed black bolts surrounding the bezel.
The robust stainless steel case holds a hardened mineral crystal front, protecting the watch and giving it water resistance up to 100 meters. The fashionable watch face itself has horizontal lines mirroring the front grills of the legendary DeLorean.
The speedometer-like dials includes shiny accents on the centre hands and indexes, and there's the wide date window at three o'clock displaying six dates simultaneously. The famous DMC logo is proudly displayed, front and centre.
Across the different models, the watch is fitted with a genuine leather strap that matches the colour of the bezel.

On the back of the 44mm case, there's an engraving of the DeLorean car in its most famous position, with the gullwing doors wide open.
Beneath the case back is a topnotch Japanese Miyota 2315 Movement providing optimal precision, accuracy, and great battery life.
For such a stylish watch, which is also officially licensed, it's surprisingly cheap. It currently retails at just £119 in the UK. The watch comes with a DeLorean branded presentation box and one year's warranty. Great Scott!
John DeLorean's original DMC operation closed its doors in the 1980s, but the legend lives on thanks to Stephen Wynne's vision. Today’s DMC operates out of Texas, and not only does it house the largest inventory of DeLorean DMC-12 parts in the world, it also sells refurbished DMC-12 vehicles. The company is also working on making a brand new DeLorean car.
