paranormal documentaries that caught our attention in 2022.
The House In Between: Part Two
'The House In Between: Part Two' is the follow up to Steve Gonsalves and Kendall Whelpton's 2020 paranormal documentary. The film from Robot Ninja Media sees Steve, who is best known for his appearances in 'Ghost Hunters' and 'Ghost Nation', and his team trying help terrified homeowner, Alice Jackson, face her fears so she can move back into her infamous haunted home.
The Curse Of Robert The Doll

The curse of the infamous haunted doll, Robert, is the subject of this two-hour-long documentary. The terrifying true story is presented as a mix of eye witness testimonials and dramatic reconstructions of events. It's fair to say that some of the reenactments are fairly far fetched, especially since there's still some speculation about the full back story of the doll. However, this added drama does make the documentary a very entertaining watch for any fan of the paranormal. It's a more interesting story than many supernatural movies and provides a fascinating insight into the lives of those who believe they have been cursed by the doll.
Ghosthunters To The Rescue
'Ghosthunters To The Rescue' is a German film that focuses on the work of two paranormal teams, one of which is the British team, Somerset Paranormal Investigators. The film picked up a platinum award for the Best Documentary (Short) and Best Paranormal Investigation Film at the 2022 Fortean Film Festival, as well as an ASSAP platinum award for Best Short Documentary. Sideworld: Haunted Forests Of England
'Sideworld: Haunted Forests Of England' takes viewers on a creepy and fascinating journey through three of England's most haunted forests, exploring a trove of frightening tales, myths and folklore. In director and writer George Popov's film, which is available to stream on demand now, he explores the hauntings and legends associated with three of the country's most famous haunted forests - Wistman's Wood in Dartmoor, Cannock Chase in the Midlands, and Epping Forest in the South East.

Alien Abduction: Travis Walton

The Discovery+ 'Shock Docs' re-examines the alien abductions of Travis Walton in 1975. The real story is recounted by the eyewitnesses and victims themselves, and with new forensic technologies not available in the 1970s. Plus access to unique tree ring growth that may prove where the UFO was hovering. Investigators also re-examine key pieces of evidence to see if they can prove that Travis had physical contact with extraterrestrials and uncover details of the man who led a complex plot to debunk Travis' story.
Panthera Britannia
'Panthera Britannia' explores the possibility that there is a population of mysterious large cats living wild in the British countryside. Produced by Matt Everett and Tim Whittard, and released by Dragonfly Films, the one hour 25 minute long film get stuck straight into the big cat mystery and presents viewers with expert after expert, all giving their opinion on the large cats which are alleged to be prowling the wilderness and countryside of rural Britain.
Alien Abduction: Betty & Barney Hill
In September 1961, Betty and Barney Hill were driving home to New Hampshire from a honeymoon trip when they made a shocking discovery and came face-to-face with a UFO. When they could not shake the feeling that something more happened, the Hills underwent regressive hypnosis. They recalled a terrifying ordeal of being abducted and experimented on by extraterrestrial beings aboard their UFO. Their story, one of the most fascinating and frightening close encounters ever reported, is retold in this 2022 Discovery+ 'Shock Docs' special.
Sideworld: Damnation Village
Director George Popov explores the dark and disturbing secrets behind three of England's most haunted villages, including the famous village of Pluckley, which was once said to be the most haunted village in England. The documentary also takes us to Prestbury in Cheshire, and Eyam in Derbyshire, where residents quarantined themselves in a famous act of self-sacrifice to prevent the spread of the plague.

The documentary premiered with selected screenings in the spring of 2022, with a full home release set to follow.
