The Haunting of Coutts Bank, The Strand, London

June 02, 2015

In the hear of London’s theatre district on The Strand is Coutts, London’s biggest private bank, the bank choice of the Queen. Bank staff have experience strange goings on like lights switching themselves on and off, sightings of ghostly figures and unnerving shadows. The building has such a history of hauntings that in 1993 staff called in a medium to try to put the spirits to rest.

A little further down the Strand, people have reported seeing a figure of a woman dressed in Edwardian clothes crossing the road, it’s believed to be the spirit of Baroness Burette Coutts.
