Watch The Trailer For Australian Horror Movie 'Bring Her Back'

Australian filmmaking duo Danny and Michael Philippou are back with their second feature, 'Bring Her Back', a chilling new horror movie that's already turning heads thanks to a tense and disturbing first trailer.

The film centres on a brother and sister who are placed with a new foster mother in a remote home. But things quickly take a sinister turn when they uncover signs of a terrifying ritual taking place within the house. What begins as a strange and unsettling situation soon spirals into something much darker.

'Bring Her Back' stars Sally Hawkins, best known for 'The Shape of Water', alongside rising star Billy Barratt. The cast also includes Sora Wong, Jonah Wren Phillips, and Sally-Anne Upton.

The trailer introduces a slow-building atmosphere of dread, hinting at something deeply unnatural lurking in the isolated home. As the siblings start to piece together what's going on, they're drawn into a disturbing web of occult practices and hidden intentions.

The film is produced by Causeway Films, RackaRacka, Salmira Productions and the South Australian Film Corporation, with distribution handled by A24 in North America and Sony Pictures Releasing International in Australia.

Following the Philippou brothers' breakout hit 'Talk To Me', this is their second feature – and it looks set to cement their reputation for creating horror that's both shocking and stylish.

'Bring Her Back' will be released in cinemas in Australia on 29 May 2025, with a North American release following on May 30.
