Glowing Snake-Like UFO Caught Over California

A mysterious glowing snake-like UFO has been captured on video in the skies above Twentynine Palms, California.
The footage was captured by 31-year-old Cody Kennedy who was driving in the area with his friends when they spotted the unexplained aerial phenomenon.
In his footage, the UFO resembles a worm squirming in the night sky, illuminated in white but with patches of black rippling along its body.
Cody and his friends watched it for more than half an hour before it hurtled to the ground and vanished.
He, from Palm Springs, had hoped to shoot some reptilian life for his animal-themed YouTube channel, Crazy Cody's Creatures, but instead found something slithering through the sky.
Cody said, "me and a couple of friends were driving around the desert looking for rattlesnakes. We were returning back when we saw a bright long bar in the sky that was moving."
They first spotted the light when it was about a mile away. At first they thought it looked like "someone was shining a light on the bottom of a flag, but it was too high up to have been attached to something on the ground."
The friends drove closer, hoping to get closer to the object and film it from underneath, but as they got closer they saw the glowing object land on the ground in the middle of the desert.
Cody said, "we all ran out to it but didn't find anything."
Neither UFO experts or Cody himself have yet been able to come up with a satisfactory explanation of what was captured in the video. Cody said, "a lot of people have said balloon, but the wind was blowing pretty good and it went against the wind."
There's also the possibility that the light could be the result of some kind of drone towing an LED light bar behind it, but Cody said this was unlikely as the object didn't appear to be making any noise.
Cody thinks the most likely explanation is that it is a kite of some kind, "I think maybe it was the tail of a kite that has some kind of LEDs but I have looked online for something like it and can't find anything."
He added, "if it was a kite, where was the person holding it? Also there were power lines there too, so kite flying at night would be dangerous."
As for the possibility of something extra-terrestrial, Cody is keeping an open mind. He said, "I want to believe, I just need some evidence now."
