The celebrity edition of the UK's most popular paranormal shows is back. Discovery+ has confirmed that 'Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted' will return for a fifth series this November, bringing a fresh batch of haunted homes, eerie encounters, and six new spooked stars looking for answers.

The new series follows the same tried-and-tested format that fans have come to love. Each episode sees a celebrity welcome a team of paranormal investigators into their private residence in the hope of understanding and confronting whatever is going bump in the night. Whether it's strange noises, sudden temperature drops or the feeling of being watched, the haunting is always personal - and the team are determined to get to the bottom of it.

The core team returns: psychic medium Ian Lawman, paranormal investigator Jayne Harris, and tech expert Barri Ghai. They use a combination of traditional spirit communication and modern ghost-hunting gadgets to get to the heart of each case. For this series, they'll be joined by a new addition - American investigator Katrina Weidman, known for her appearances on US ghost-hunting shows including 'Paranormal Lockdown' and 'Portals to Hell'.

In each episode, the team digs into the history of the home and its surrounding area, often uncovering dark or tragic events that may be connected to the current activity. The investigations take them from historic castles in the Scottish Highlands to sun-soaked Italian villas, as they try to help their famous clients find peace of mind.

This year's celebrity line-up includes...

Nancy Dell'Olio

An Italian-born lawyer and media personality, Nancy rose to fame in the early 2000s as the partner of England football manager Sven-Göran Eriksson. Known for her glamorous image and appearances on British reality television, she has remained a fixture in the tabloid press and celebrity circuit.

Gary Numan

A pioneering musician in the electronic and synth-pop scene, Gary shot to fame in the late 1970s with chart-topping hits like 'Cars' and 'Are 'Friends' Electric?'. His dark, futuristic sound and stage persona have earned him cult status, with a career spanning more than four decades.

Suzanne Shaw

An actress, singer and television personality who found fame as a member of Hear'Say, the pop group formed through ITV's reality show 'Popstars' in 2001. She's since had a varied career on stage and screen, including leading roles in musical theatre and appearances on reality TV.

Beverley Callard

Best known for her long-running role as the fiery Liz McDonald in 'Coronation Street', Beverley is a familiar face to soap fans. With decades of acting experience, she's also spoken publicly about her mental health journey, earning her a place as a well-loved and relatable British TV personality.

Simon Weston

A Falklands War veteran who became a national figure after surviving a devastating attack on the RFA Sir Galahad, leaving him with severe burns. Simon has since become a campaigner, author and motivational speaker, known for his resilience and charity work supporting injured veterans.

Antony Cotton

A household name thanks to his role as Sean Tully in 'Coronation Street', which he's played since 2003. Antony is also known for his appearances on various reality and chat shows, and is a passionate supporter of armed forces charities, having come from a military family himself.

Series five of 'Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted' will be available to stream exclusively on discovery+ from November. Previous seasons are available now for anyone wanting to catch up before the new hauntings begin.
