Katrina Weidman Joins The 'Help! My House Is Haunted' Team For New Celebrity Series

American paranormal investigator Katrina Weidman is joining the British ghost-hunting team in the upcoming fifth series of 'Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted', which returns to discovery+ this November.
The announcement was made yesterday alongside confirmation that the show will feature six new celebrity guests - but the big news for fans of paranormal television is Katrina's addition to the team.
Katrina is best known for her work on 'Paranormal Lockdown', in which she spent 72 hours locked inside haunted locations alongside fellow investigator Nick Groff. The show ran for more than 30 episodes before ending in 2019. She's also co-hosted 'Portals To Hell' with Jack Osbourne and has appeared in 'Paranormal State' and 'Real Fear: The Truth Behind The Movies'.
Born in Pennsylvania in 1983, Katrina's fascination with the paranormal began during her childhood, when she lived in a reportedly haunted house in Bucks County. She later became case manager for the Paranormal Research Society, and has since established herself as a respected figure in US paranormal television. A graduate of Penn State University, Katrina brings years of experience and a hands-on investigative style to the show.
While it's not yet clear whether Katrina will feature in all six episodes of the upcoming series - or whether she'll continue on in the regular, non-celebrity version of 'Help! My House Is Haunted' - she appears in official press images for the new series alongside music legend Gary Numan and singer-actress Suzanne Shaw, hinting at a prominent role in the new run.
Katrina joins returning investigators Barri Ghai, Jayne Harris and Ian Lawman. Barri has been the show's resident tech expert since the very first series of the non-celebrity format in 2018. Jayne took over from original investigator Sandy Lakdar in 2019, and Ian has served as the show's psychic medium since 2021, following in the footsteps of Chris Fleming.
The new series will still follow the familiar celebrity format, with six well-known faces inviting the team into their homes in search of answers. This time around, the haunted householders include singer and electronic music pioneer Gary Numan, former Hear'Say pop star and actress Suzanne Shaw, and Nancy Dell'Olio, the high-profile Italian media personality.
Also featuring in the line-up are Beverley Callard, best known for her decades-long role as Liz McDonald in 'Coronation Street', fellow Corrie star Antony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully, and Simon Weston, the Falklands War veteran and respected charity campaigner.
Series five of 'Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted' will be available to stream exclusively on discovery+ from November. Previous seasons are available now for anyone wanting to catch up before the new hauntings begin.
