'Unsolved Mysteries' Brings Nine New Baffling Cases To Netflix

The third volume of 'Unsolved Mysteries' brings Netflix subscribers nine new baffling cases as the gripping series returns with a three-week programming event.
The iconic and gripping series 'Unsolved Mysteries' returns with a run of nine new episodes spread across three weeks over Halloween and featuring more unexplained deaths, baffling disappearances, and bizarre paranormal activity.
The first three instalments of the rebooted series' third volume drops on October 18, with three further episodes premiering on each of the two following Tuesdays.
The classic 90s show was brought back to life in 2020 by Shawn Levy, the executive producer of the Netflix smash 'Stranger Things', working alongside the show's original creators John Cosgrove and Terry Dunn Meurer.
Netflix has released a list of episode titles that will make up the show's third volume.
Week 1: October 18
Mystery at Mile Marker 45
Something in the Sky
Body in Bags
Week 2: October 25
Death in a Vegas Motel
Paranormal Rangers
What Happened to Josh?
Week 3: November 1
Body in the Bay
The Ghost in Apartment 14
Abducted by a Parent
The series originally ran from 1987 and notched up almost 300 episodes documenting cold cases and paranormal phenomena, including stories such as that of the legendary Roswell UFO incident of 1947. It was the first mainstream television series to feature this story, which is now one of the best known UFO cases of all time.
Last year a spinoff podcast to accompany the series was launched. The podcast is narrated by Steve French, an American actor and television announcer. It now has more than 60 episodes available to listen to for free.
Just like the Netflix series, each episode of the podcast ends by inviting listeners to contact the show if they have any information, tips or clues which might help the 'Unsolved Mysteries' team solve the case.
