GhostCast: Doppelgängers - Are You Haunted? [Episode 3]

The team from 'Are You Haunted...?' return with another half hour of talk about ghost hunting and the paranormal. The third episode of the 'GhostCast' sees Phil and Sara Whyman come together with fellow team members Jane Carrigan, Dale Dickinson, Ben Woodward and Wayne Dean - all talking remotely via webcams of course.
This time around it's Jane who's set the talking points for the biweekly podcast. It's her job to suggest a meaningful venue they've filmed at together to talk about in more depth, a topic of the week for the team to get their teeth stuck into, and a trending news story from the paranormal world to debate.
Jane said she's picked this week's location based on the fact that everyone who was with them when they filmed there had experiences that night. She said, "there's no one who felt like they were sidelined and nothing happening to them." The venue Jane has picked features in the third episode of the first series of 'Are You Haunted...?', the creepy Thorne Workhouse in Doncaster.
In the episode from 2019, the team investigate the former workhouse, which dates back to the mid-19th century. The building is said to be haunted by paranormal activity ranging from the sound of footsteps and unexplained voices, through to objects moving on their own and even sightings of shadow people and a male apparition.
As the newest member of the AYH team, Wayne wasn't with the rest of the gang when they filmed at Thorne Workhouse, which gave him the opportunity to talk openly about his thoughts on the investigation as a viewer during this week's podcast. He said, "I think my favourite bit from the episode was Sara and Ben in the corridor" - a memorable moment when Ben was a little reluctant to head deeper into the darkness of the building.
Next the team move on and attempted to explain another viral ghost clip that's been doing the rounds over the last few weeks. This week's clip was apparently captured in India and shows what appears to be a ghostly figure floating past a group of people stood in a petrol station, bizarrely. Most of the team seemed to agree that it was either smoke or mist, while Dale is convinced the clip is a fake. He said, "it's a bit too solid to be smoke or vape."
The gang of investigators then discuss the 'topic of the day', which this week is doppelgängers, which as Jane describes are an apparition or double of a living person. Jane says that encountering your double can be a sign of bad luck. Wayne jokes, "if there was two Dales, that would be bad luck," but Phil summed the topic up by saying, "the world's going to be really lucky if there's two of me."
