Most Haunted's Yvette Fielding and Karl Beattie investigate Nottingham's very haunted Galleries Of Justice, where there have been countless reports of paranormal activity... or as Karl would say, there are "ghosts abound!"
The online-only episode is the third investigation produced exclusively for their YouTube channel and their second visit to the former prison and courtrooms.
The first records of the Galleries of Justice being uses as a prison was in 1449. It is built on the site of a Saxon settlement dating back to 600AD, and is said to play host to ghostly apparitions, poltergeist activity, disembodied voices, slamming doors and unexplained drops in temperature.
As well as the prison, the galleries housed court, and many executions took place on the steps of the building, making this the only location in the UK where you could be tried, sentenced and punished under the same roof.
The ghost hunting duo start their investigation in the old subterranean cells and moving through the building, which now houses the National Justice Museum.
During their investigation, Yvette and Karl heard several strange, unidentified sound and several knocks and bangs, some of which appeared to be responding to their question as if there was some sort of intelligence behind the sounds. At times the tapping even seemed to be responding to Yvette as she sung nursery rhymes and encouraged the spirits to join in.
At one point it all got a bit much for Yvette and she screamed at Karl, "can we go now, please please please?" Then, getting more angry at Karl's refusal to leave, she said "f**k that! We're in the middle of f**king nowhere in the bowels of hell, that things tapping away saying it's murdered 30 people" and on top of all of that, Yvette had just heard a growl.
But, despite her trepidation, they pushed on further into the darkened room and corridors of the museum where they encountered even more odd knocking and banging.
