Mary Beattie's Witchcraft Wednesdays: Introduction - Part One

April 22, 2020 8:54 PM
Mary Bettie, daughter of television ghost hunter Yvette Fielding, starts a series of videos based around her exploration of witchcraft. The video was one of nine in the series uploaded to  Most Haunted's official YouTube channel.

In the video Mary talks about what got her interested in modern witchcraft and what she plans to share over the coming weeks. She welcomed viewers to the first part of the series by saying, "I, Mary Beattie, am going through a bit of a journey. I've decided that I want to start practicing the ancient craft of witchcraft."

Armed with crystals and an array of candles, Mary admits that she's still learning herself, but want to share her journey with others who might be interested in the craft, she said "when it comes to witchcraft, I'm quite new to it, I'm still learning everything that I need to do."

Mary was quick to dispel the myth that witchcraft is evil. She said on the live stream, "no, it is not evil. A lot of people are scared of things that they don't understand. A lot of people don't understand that modern witchcraft in itself is based off of worshipping nature."
