Katrina Weidman, Yvette Fielding, Jayne Harris & Barri Ghai Feature In New PARAFlixx Documentary
As many paranormal researchers believe the history is a prominent part of any paranormal investigation, so does the cast of the new documentary, coming to PARAFlixx paranormal+ October 1 to kick off the annual network theme #HALLOFlixx.
'Spectre Or Spectacle: A History Of The Paranormal,' features a wide range of stars from the paranormal world, including 'Most Haunted' host Yvette Fielding, Katrina Weidman from 'Portals To Hell', and 'Help! My House Is Haunted' investigators Barri Ghai and Jayne Harris.
The documentary's trailer will premiere this week at MiParacon The 13th, a paranormal convention in Michigan. The event takes place at Kewadin Casino in Sault Ste. Marie and every year sees thousands of fans come to see some of the greatest paranormal TV personalities.
This year, the convention welcomes Jack Osbourne, Chip Coffey, Dakota Laden, Chelsea Laden, Alex Schroeder and Tanner Wiseman to name a few. The official trailer will be premiered with PARAFlixx co-founder Patti Negri, also a special guest of MiParacon The 13th.
'Spectre Or Spectacle: A History Of The Paranormal' is a feature-length documentary which journeys through time, exploring how entertainment has potentially affected the belief systems of the paranormal over the centuries.
The film includes interviews with historians, authors, parapsychologists and some of the best in the field of the paranormal and covers a wide range of topics from Homer's Odyssey, the Fox Sisters, the Amityville horrors, and all the way through to present-day paranormal shows and podcasts.
The film's director, SJ Evans, said "there has been so much that has been put into this passion project to bring the film to life. We could not have asked for a better crew, cast and network to run the documentary. The reason for making the documentary was to raise awareness for the children’s charity, Angelwish, so we are delighted to have found a home with Paraflixx. Now we are truly excited for the official trailer release at MiParacon, and for the film release October 1st this year only on PARAFlixx paranormal+."
