Cheadle, Manchester
This Grade II listed, 1870s hospital on the outskirts of Manchester was closed in 1999. The hospital is built on what was once an Anglo-Saxon site of religious importance. It was used to house wounded servicemen during World War II. The hospital played host to the Most Haunted team for a live investigation in 2005.
