The Haunted Hunts Head To Pendle Hill For Series 3

Following their successful second Amazon Prime series, Danny Moss and his team return with a third series of The Haunted Hunts, this time they head to the legendary Pendle Hill in Lancashire.

The Haunted Hunts are a paranormal investigation team from the North West of England. The gang is lead by Danny Moss, alongside Rebecca Salisbury-Moss, Emma Dawe, Charlie Rutter, and Roxanne Rutter.

The dramatic trailer for the six new episodes dropped last week on social media and fans are already excited for the show's October release.

The team's third series lands on Amazon Prime in October. The six new episodes will follow the team as they investigate the lingering spirits of those accused and executed for witchcraft in the areas surrounding the infamous Pendle Hill.

The story of suffering, execution and witchcraft at Pendle Hill dates back to 1612 and the reign of King James I. At this time England was living in fear of witchcraft and evil spirits, and those found guilty of witchcraft were executed.

Twelve locals from Pendle were amongst the accused in what became one of the most famous witch trials in English history. 400 years later, many believe that the areas surrounding Pendle Hill are still plagued by the spirits of the accused.

Now the Haunted Hunts team tackle what is believed to be one of the most haunted locations in Britain. Dany said, "way before I ever became a paranormal investigator, way way way before The Haunted Hunts was developed, this place always had a bit of a hold over me. I was always obsessed with this place."

The new series promises to be the most exciting to date. Especially since the team have already teased that they've captured what they believe to be a full bodied apparition moving on camera. Danny said, "it's by far our best ever piece of evidence and we cannot wait for you to see it in October."

The new series comes hot on the heels of the team's recent two-hour special filmed at Codnor Farmhouse in Derbyshire and . The team's second series, 'Civitas Spirituum', which  focussed on the historic walled city of Cheshire premiered in March of this year and saw the gang investigating six of the city's most haunted locations including Ye Olde Kings Head, the Pied Bull and the Dewa Roman Experience.

The Haunted Hunts' previous series, 'Behind The Shadows', won them a silver in 2019's Paranormal Entertainment Awards for Best Online Paranormal Show. The series saw the team investigate some of the UK's most famously haunted locations, including Pool Park Asylum, Antwerp Mansion and the infamous Ancient Ram Inn.
