Scott Bryan, TV editor at Buzzfeed tweeted, "Netflix has told me that the fifth season of Black Mirror is still to come in 2019. Bandersnatch was not the fifth season, but a standalone interactive film, in case you were wondering."

Nothing more is known about the new series and of course, due to the nature of 'Black Mirror', we could be getting anything from mind-probing electronic implants, to killer robots or strange devices to enable the human consciousness to live on after death.

Ghost Adventures

The hit US ghost hunting series fronted by Zak Bagans returned to UK screens in 2018 with a new series, which aired over Halloween. However, viewers in the UK are still slightly behind the US, but a new series starts on UKTV's Really channel on March 22nd which will bring British viewers more up to date.

Meanwhile, in the US, the show will return from its season 17 mid-season break in February, airing on the Travel Channel.

Fans of 'Ghost Chasers' are hoping to see the return of Kay Nambiar, Ian Lawman, Paul Hobday and Chris Howley this year. Haunting Of Hill House

The Haunting Of Hill House

Netflix's supernatural drama, 'Haunting Of Hill House', was the big runaway hit of the year with fans of the paranormal. The show only landed on Netflix in October, but many viewers felt that the story had been left open for a possible second season, and several cast members are keen for a comeback, although nothing has yet been confirmed by Netflix or the show's creators.

Help! My House Is Haunted

Help! My House Is Haunted: The Skirrid Inn

We're all hoping for a return of television's newest ghost hunting team in 2019. 'Help! My House Is Haunted' started on the Really channel in September of last year and could be set to return this year. The show follows Barri Ghai, Sandy Lakdar and Chris Fleming as they travel the UK using the latest technology to try to capture never before seen proof of the paranormal.

There's no word yet on a second series, but given the positive response the series received, it's likely to return at some point in the future. As there's not yet been word that a second series is in production, it probably won't return until later in the year, perhaps around Halloween.

Fans of the paranormal will have love Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton's Halloween special of their dark anthology show 'Inside No. 9'. The rollercoaster ride of twists and turns was based on the real-life stories of the hauntings at Manchester's Granada Studios.

The one-off special has most likely left fans wanting more, but the good news is that a fifth series of the show is due to air on BBC Two later this year. In October last year, Pemberton spoke about how they write the show, "we always like to be in the same room, which a lot of writing partners don't. We live very close to each other so we have a little office and go to the same places for our lunch and we spitball a lot of ideas for a long time."

The drama will be the first British television adaptation of 'The War Of The Worlds,' and for the first time since the book was published, the story will unfold here in the UK in a small town in Surrey, rather than the now-famous Grover's Mill, New Jersey or other parts of the United States.
