The Haunted Hunts Team Investigate The Dark Haunting Of Codnor Farmhouse In New Two-Hour Special

Hot on the heels of the second season of their paranormal web series, Danny Moss and his team return with an explosive investigation filmed over one terrifying weekend at a sinister haunted farmhouse on the border of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

The two-hour special will air exclusively on Amazon Prime on July 2nd and will follow Danny along with Rebecca Salisbury-Moss, Emma Dawe, Charlie Rutter, and Roxanne Rutter as they tackle the infamous Codnor farmhouse.

Codnor Castle Cottage is an isolated and now abandoned former family home that was built on the grounds of the Codnor Castle estate in the 16th century by the Zouche family, owners of Codnor Castle, in the late 1530s, during the reign of Henry VIII.

In a spine-chilling trailer for the upcoming episode, Danny said "looking back now, it was just one of the most darkest and surreal weekends we've ever had."

The team unwittingly found themselves in the midst of a mystery as they attempted to get to the bottom of a haunting, which some witnesses claim is the result of positive spirits roaming the dilapidated cottage, while others think the haunting is caused by something darker and much more malevolent. Emma admits, "we didn't really know what we were letting ourselves in for."

The paranormal occurrences at Codnor Castle Cottage range from dark shadows, to poltergeist activity like doors slamming, furniture being moved across rooms, glasses thrown, and one witness was even dragged across a room while sat on a chair. There have been countless reports of disembodied voices including singing, laughter, the voices of children, and blood-curdling screams.

Witnesses have reported seeing apparitions in the cottage, including the vision of a Victorian lady wearing a straw hat. In the living room, visitors have seen the ghosts of three monks that walk across the room. The attic rooms are said to be home to a negative entity, and paranormal investigators have experienced what they describe as demonic attacks in this part of the house.

The episode was shot prior to lockdown in the eerie cottage in the castle's grounds. Now fans finally get to see what happened during one of the Haunted Hunt's scariest vigil to date as they investigate claims of paranormal activity in the cottage, using various ghost hunting techniques and an array of ghost hunting gadgets.

The evidence of the supernatural that the team captured during the investigation may leave even the harshest skeptics scratching their heads, as the team came away with 'class A' EVPs, and unnerving voices and threatening sounds captured on camera.

The special follows Danny and the team's recent six-part second season, 'Civitas Spirituum', which  focussed on the historic walled city of Cheshire. They spent the night in six of the city's most haunted locations including Ye Olde Kings Head, the Pied Bull and the Dewa Roman Experience. The Haunted Hunts' previous series, 'Behind The Shadows', won them a silver in 2019's Paranormal Entertainment Awards for Best Online Paranormal Show. The series saw the team investigate some of the UK's most famously haunted locations, including Pool Park Asylum, Antwerp Mansion and the infamous Ancient Ram Inn.
