The Haunted Hunts At Pendle Hill - Lower Well Head Farm

In the final episode of The Haunted Hunts new Amazon Prime series, Danny Moss and the team are given the rare opportunity to investigate a legendary paranormal hotspot.

Danny has been joined by his usual team of paranormal investigators, Rebecca Salisbury-Moss, Emma Dawe, Charlie Rutter, and Roxanne Rutter, on a weeklong investigation of Pendle Hill in Lancashire. Now as their time in the famous haunted village comes to an end, they conduct one last investigation at the infamous Lower Well Head Farm.

The remote farmhouse was built around 1660 and despite being allegedly very haunted, the Haunted Hunts are the first team to investigate the property since it last appeared on television in 2004. Because of its location at the epicentre of Pendle and due to the fact that older dwellings existed on the land before the house was built, the site could well have been a location where the witches involved in the 1612 Pendle trials met.

Before the team got stuck into their investigation, Danny spoke to parapsychologist Ciarán O'Keeffe, who was at Lower Well Head Farm with Yvette Fielding and the 'Most Haunted' team when it was last investigated in 2004.

Ciarán admitted that he was very jealous that the team were allowed to investigate the building, but told Danny that the thing that makes Lower Well Head Farm "the place to investigate" is its location. Ciarán says that the farmhouse is "almost central to everything" as it sits in the middle of several of the area's haunted buildings.

He told an already very excited Danny, "it is a fantastic place because of some of the phenomena that's been reported there." He says the location is particularly interesting because you've got the footsteps and the echoing of the footsteps around the building."

On their final night, the team arrived at the farmhouse for their investigation, but before they even got started the team experienced unexplained waves of nausea and chest pains.

They start out by splitting up. The girls felt uneasy in an upstairs bedroom where they heard noises and sensed movement around them. Meanwhile Danny and Charlie conducted an EVP session in the living room. EVP, or electronic voice phenomenon is a method of investigation which involves capturing disembodied spirit voices on electronic audio devices.

During their vigil in the farmhouse they experienced strange technical difficulties with their equipment, one member of the team felt like they had been touched, and they captured what Danny described as the "best visual evidence we have ever seen."

The footage that the team captured is shown at the end of the episode. Danny says that the team think that this evidence is "100% proof" of the paranormal.

The impressive moment is very hard to explain and without a doubt is the highlight of the series. Speaking after the investigation at the end of the episode, Danny said "when we realised what we had caught on the locked off camera, that for all of us - we all agree on this - was our best ever piece of evidence."

Danny summed up their journey by saying "we found incredible evidence and what happened at Saddlers Farm and Lower Well Head Farm will stay with us forever, because to capture evidence like that is such a rare thing."

He added, "Pendle Hill is an incredible place and I urge everybody to go there, just for a walk around because the atmosphere speaks for itself and it's one of the most unique locations in the UK."
