YouTube Space Access Level Changes
April 18, 2016 9:08 PM ‐ YouTube
Over the past years, the YouTube Space community has grown at an astounding rate, with over 30,000 creators visiting our three European Spaces (London, Berlin and Paris). We’re proud to support your creativity and are constantly working to ensure that as many creators as possible have access to our facilities.
In order to accommodate an increasing number of creators visiting the Spaces in London/Berlin/Paris and to ensure we keep providing you with the best possible services at all levels, we are updating our Access Program levels as follows:
New “Access+” Tier for Creators with 1,000+ Subscribers
To start, we are introducing new programs that help creators with less than 10,000 subscribers build their channels and ramp up on the platform. Once you reach 1,000 subscribers, you are eligible to participate in the Build Your Channel bootcamps as well as attend exclusive community events including screenings, networking mixers, and more.
While our community events and learning opportunities will remain available to all creators with over 1,000 subscribers, our studio production facilities will now be available for creators with 10,000+ subscribers. That means, once you have reached the 10,000 subscriber threshold, you’ll be able to “Unlock the Space” and gain access to our state-of-the-art production resources...all at no charge.
New Post Production Bookings
We heard from some of you that it can sometimes be challenging to book time in our post production area, so we will now have caps on the maximum number of bookable days per month. This will help to open up our suites & bays to even more creators.
These updates will be in effect from Monday, April 4th, 2016. All creators, regardless of subscriber level, can receive our newsletter with tips and tricks, as well as join our open house events. You can visit our site to learn more about the new access levels, and the opportunities available to you.
