How Many Locations Have Most Haunted Filmed At?

It's the ultimate piece of Most Haunted trivia, how many haunted locations have Yvette Fielding and her team of paranormal investigators filmed episodes at? Keep reading to find out.
The show has been on television since 2002 and has 268 episodes across 24 series under its belt, plus 37 'Most Haunted Live!' shows and two spin-off series each consisting of eight episodes, 'Most Haunted: Midsummer Murders' and 'Most Haunted: The Live Series'. The list also features the location of an un-aired DVD special filmed at the Rifles Museum, Salisbury.
Of course, it's not as simple as just adding up the number of episodes there have been across all the series, as live shows were often spread across multiple locations and some locations the team have investigated are spread across two or even three episodes - not to mention locations that the team have visited more than once.
It's not been easy coming to our final figure, but the total number of unique locations the team have visited as of March 2022 is 403. Pretty impressive, right? Here's how we calculated it...

The subtotal of 426 is pretty impressive, but it isn't the correct answer. There are 23 locations that have featured in both the regular series and live shows, such as Tatton Old Hall, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Elvaston Castle. There are also some crossover locations in 'Midsummer Murders'. When we subtract these 23 re-visited locations from the total, it leaves us with the final answer of 403. This number is correct as of the most recent series in June 2019 and takes in to account all online exclusive episodes including the most recent that premiered in March 2022. Do we get points for showing our workings?
Of the 403 locations the team have filmed at 16 are locations outside of the UK. The part of the country that Yvette and the team have visited the most is the North West of England, where they have filmed 46 episodes. This is followed by the West Midlands in second place with 31 episodes. Then Yorkshire and the Humber with 30, the South West of England with 27, Wales with 26 and the South East of England where 24 episodes have been filmed. However, the show has only visited Ireland for 4 episodes.
